// What I'm building
This is a test project, not a real build. It's here to check that the website pipeline works, and it will be deleted.
What it does: A cardboard robot that "listens" to socks and pairs each one with its long-lost twin, then plays a tiny victory kazoo tune.
How it was built: A shoebox body, googly eyes, paper-towel-tube arms, a cereal-box sorting ramp, and lots of tape and markers.
- TEST project (not real)
- Shoebox body + googly eyes
- Victory kazoo tune

// Build Log
Test #1 — first try
- WHAT I TRIED
- A shoebox body, googly eyes, paper-towel-tube arms, a cereal-box sorting ramp, and lots of tape and markers.
- WHAT BROKE
- It matched every sock with a banana from the fruit bowl because they were both "kind of curvy."
- THE FIX
- Taped a big "NO FRUIT" sign on the ramp and gave the robot a cardboard monocle so it can see better.
Round 2 — update
- WHAT I TRIED
- Same shoebox body, googly eyes, paper-towel-tube arms and cereal-box ramp, now with the "NO FRUIT" sign and a cardboard monocle from the last fix.
- WHAT BROKE
- The monocle worked too well. The robot got so picky it refused to match any socks that weren't exactly the same stripe count, so it ended up hugging a giant tangled sock pile and declared them all "one very long family."
- THE FIX
- Drew a "close enough!" button on its side with a marker. One tap and it relaxes, pairs the socks, and plays the kazoo tune twice to apologize.
// Test Updates
Round 2
A cardboard robot that "listens" to socks and pairs each one with its long-lost twin, then plays a tiny victory kazoo tune. (Update to round 1.)
